The Isle of Wight Ice Dance & Figure Skating Club’s skater of the month for June is Keelin Scholes.

Keelin had an amazing start to June when she competed in the Adult Silver Youth free skating category at Guildford opens, winning gold. This amazing result led to her competing in the British Championships where she won silver.

Keelin started to skate at the age of 12, and joined the Wight Gems synchronized skating team two years later. She recently took time out to go abroad and skate in shows and in the club’s last-ever Christmas show at Ryde Arena she played one of the main parts – Bert in Mary Poppins. Always a busy member of our skating squad.
