Ryde Arena, the Isle of Wight’s only ice rink, is permanently shut. Leaseholders AEW/BNY Mellon sent in the bailiffs on 6 October 2016. On 8 October 2016, Ryde Arena Ltd issued a statement that it was placed in a position where it was no longer able to operate the rink.
