Canada’s junior team selection event for the 2014 Junior World Challenge Cup, Winterfest, took place at the Hershey Centre, Mississauga, on 10 to 12 January. The synchronized skating teams that will represent Canada at the JWCC are Les Supremes and Les Pirouettes.

Regular JWCC competitors Nexxice finished 3rd, so this season will miss the event.

The British Synchronized Skating Championships on 18 to 19 January is one of the events that determines which teams if any the UK sends to the JWCC in Neuchatel (6 to 8 March, www.jwcc2014.com) and to the senior synchro worlds in Courmayeur (3 to 5 April, www.2014synchroworlds.com).
