IW junior synchronized skating team Wight Jewels again intend to train this summer with world leading synchronized skating coach Andrea Dohany, and there is an ice skating gala at Ryde on 26 June to help raise funds for this purpose. Admission is just £2.00 and the gala runs from 7 to 8pm.

Last year training with Andrea developed the team hugely, and the Jewels went on to score the best IJS score for a British junior team at an ISU international event that season. The training sessions are therefore a real benefit to the team.

Update (1 July): The gala raised over £300 for the trip.
