If you have an iPhone you can follow the 2012 European Figure Skating Championships in Sheffield on the  Россия 2 channel on the app Russian TV. The app has a schedule, just look for the keywords: Чемпионатов Европы (European Championships) to find out broadcast times. This is the same channel that provides the internet stream. All commentary is, of course, in Russian.

The app is free but the service has a subscription cost of US 99 cents a day and will provide reminders that a subscription is due during playback.

The app may be available for iPad but iowskaters hasn’t been able to try this. It might be worth keeping an eye on this channel for future skating events.
