Solent Tonight, Solent TV’s weekday evenings’ news programme (Sky channel 219), featured the Island’s two synchronised skating teams – the Wight Diamonds and the Wight Gems – in its broadcast for Tuesday 27 March.

The two-minute slot featured interviews with Island skating coach Terri Fleming, the Diamonds’ vice-captain, Isabelle Coeshott, and the Gems’ joint captains, Gemma Marsh and Emma Wilks. The focus was on the bronze medal gained at the British synchronised skating championships by the Diamonds, and the silver taken by the Gems at the RJS opens event on the same date.

Solent TV has uploaded its streaming video for the second part of the programme, which contains the interviews, so it is possible to see the interview on the internet. The interviews start about 20 seconds into this part of the programme.
