Ryde Town Council has awarded Wight Jewels £500 towards the costs of the IW synchronized skating team’s training camp in Landvetter, Sweden, in August.

The grant, made by the council’s finance committee, will allow the team to again benefit from instruction from renowned synchronized skating coach Andrea Dohany, whose Team Surprise won silver at this year’s senior world championships.
