NRW Trophy Dortmund 2012

The NRW Trophy in Dortmund took place from 2 to 4 November, and former IW skater Charlotte Aiken and ice dance partner Josh Whidborne took part at senior level against 12 other couples. Mina Zdravkova and former IW skater Henry Aiken competed at junior level in ice dance against 30 other couples.

After the short programmes Charlotte and Josh were in sixth place in the seniors with 47.41 points, ahead of the other British couple, Louise Walden and Owen Edwards, in ninth with 43.06. Charlotte and Josh skated seventh in the free, in warm-up group two. A score of 78.82 was enough to give Charlotte and Josh fifth place in the free and, with a total of 126.23, fifth place overall.

In the juniors, Mina and Henry were in 24th place after the short programme with 36.49. A score of 53.21 and 26th place in the long meant they were 27th overall with a total of 89.70.
