Chelmsford open competitions took place on 2 October at Chelmsford Riverside rink. The competitions used the RJS (6.0) system.

No IW-based skaters took part but Amy World of Gosport, who skates for the IW synchro teams, competed in the level 4 ladies’ event, adding to her string of gold medals.
