The Southern Open IJS competitions take place at Alexandra Palace from 24 to 26 September. IJS marking applies to all classes except beginners, which uses RJS.

The event is the second Southern Open IJS: the first was held at Lee Valley in March 2012.

IW skaters achieved the following results:

Beginner girls aged 11 and over: 5th Robyn Johnson
Level 1 Ladies: 4th Bethany Howarth
Level 2 Ladies: 21st Beckie Vockins
Level 3 Ladies: 6th Keelin Scholes
Level 4 Ladies: 10th Charlotte Chapman. The class was won by Gosport skater Amy World, who is  a member of the IW synchro teams
