Wight Jewels have risen to 14th in the world according to the ISU’s updated world rankings for junior synchronized skating teams, published on 10 June.

The Jewels were previously ranked 17th in the world.

The rankings are based on performance at international events, and just show what incredible things maths can do… The world ranking of a team is often different from its placing at the world championships, which up until 2012 was the Junior World Challenge Cup (JWCC). The Jewels were 15th at the JWCC in 2012, but none the less are ranked 14th in the world.
