Spring Cup 2012 diary: day 4, official practice

Wight Jewels are in confident mood after this morning’s official practice, with no further injuries to report. They head back to the rink at 2.30pm for the long programme in the junior competition.

Teams members stayed to watch about half the senior competition last night, particularly to see Sweden’s Team Spirit in action. Team Spirit currently leads the senior event after an innovative and dazzling routine set to Mario Bros. Unfortunately, the need to rest the squad meant they missed the last teams to skate, including Tatarstan of Russia and the UK’s Aura. Tatarstan currently holds second place with 58.09 points against Team Spirit’s 63.68; Team Berlin 1 is third with 53.42.
