Karen Barber and Dan Whiston from ITV’s Dancing on Ice are due to hold a skating school at Planet Ice, Ryde, on Monday 30 May to Friday 3 June at 7.30 to 10.30am each day.

The cost of the week’s course is £150.00; individual days are not bookable. The early-bird period for members of the Isle of Wight Ice Dance & Figure Skating Club has passed and the course is now open to skaters from other clubs and to the general public. Anyone on the course must be able to skate both forward and backward crossovers.

There is also a beginners’ class on the Monday to Thursday evenings, lasting one hour each evening. Times to be advised. The cost of this course is £50.
