Archie Bicknell skated to standard to take 1st place in the level 8 men’s competition at Telford this week, securing the IW’s only medal at the event.

Keelin Scholes did particularly well to attain 4th place in the 22-strong group of beginners aged 13 and over.

Roxy Collins was 6th in the event for level 1 girls aged 11 and under, and Maggie Read was 5th in the level 9 ladies.

In their first UK mainland competitions, Ella Newnham was 18th in the event for beginners aged 11 and 12, and Hannah Brookes was 16th in the category for beginners aged 13 and over.
