After being told that the Wight Jewels’ were to represent Great Britain at the junior world synchronized skating championship in Neuchatel, Switzerland, IW council leader David Pugh sent the following message:

“Congratulations on this success, I hope that it all continues to go well. Delighted to hear about how you have been flying the flag for the Island.”
