It’s Sweden, and so it’s no surprise that tomorrow’s draw for skate order for the short programme in the Junior World Challenge Cup is full of moose. Team captains will be taking turns to catch a moose on ice, with the aim of removing its horns to reveal the skate order number. Captain Emma Wilks will be chief moose hunter for the Jewels, with vice-captain Gemma Marsh as number two.
The draw takes place on 11 March at 20:00 CET (19:00 GMT) in the main arena, and promises to be a highly entertaining event. More entertaining than the usual process of drawing numbered balls from a bag, at any rate.
