The results of the 2006 Kent opens are available on Gillingham ID&FSC’s website. The competition took place on 6 November at Gillingham Ice Bowl, Kent.

Nikita Heathfield was third in the Gwendoline Cup for beginner girls aged 8 and under; Kirsty Atter, skating in her first mainland competition, took a creditable fifth in the same event.

With several Island skaters competing at new levels, further podium places in the free events were hard to come by, but in the exhibition events, Gemma Fishel took first in the Joanne Conway artistic cup for level 3 and under skaters and Gemma Marsh was placed second in the Rosina Memorial trophy for levels 4 to 7.
