Gemma Marsh claimed two silvers at Lee Valley Opens on Sunday 21 May. The only IOW skater to take part in the opens, she achieved her results in the solo exhibition class for skaters of level 4 and above, and with partner Rachel Jackson of Basingstoke in the artistic groups class for skaters of any standard.

Poor timetabling of the opens gave Gemma about 30 seconds to change costume between her two events, with the result that she skated the second event incorrectly dressed in half her costume from the first. Well done Gemma for coping.
