IW coach Terri Smith says: “I was extremely proud of all IW skaters competing at Gosport, with IW club members winning six out of seven categories entered and going on to the finals. Many hours have been devoted to prop making and costumes and our skaters did us proud.
“A special mention to Eloise and Anneliese in their first ever solo artistic style competition, you nailed it girls.
“Now we look forward to our annual friendly artistic competition against Gosport on Saturday 24 June. This will be held at Gosport as IW skaters have no home rink to train – many are regularly training at Gosport and Guildford to continue their dreams.”
* Robbie and Amy have in the past both represented the IW but train at Gosport; Amy is a member of the IW synchronized skating teams. Melody trains at Gosport but represents the IW at opens.
