The first official ISU Junior World Synchronized Skating Championships get under way in Helsinki, Finland, this week from 7 to 9 March – the de facto championships for the past 12 or so years has been the Junior World Challenge Cup. The UK’s sole representative this year is Team Icicles of Nottingham, who qualified ahead of Wight Jewels.

Thursday, 7 March, 6.30pm (4.30pm GMT): Opening ceremony
Friday, 8 March, 5.30pm (3.30 GMT): Short programme
Saturday, 9 March, 3.00pm (1.00pm GMT): Free skating
