ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships, Helsinki

The 2011 senior world synchronized skating championships took place in Helsinki, Finland, on 7 to 9 April.

Access to live internet and TV broadcasts of the event was restricted, so it was not possible to watch the event outside Finland. Results, however, were updated live during the competition, allowing teams’ progress to be tracked. After the short programme, Finland Team 1, the Rockettes, were first with 74.81 points, Finland Team 2, Marigold Ice Unity, were second with 73.74 points, and USA Team 1, the Haydenettes, were third with 71.16 points. The top three positions did not change after the free skate, with the Rockettes finishing on a total of 215.43, Marigold Ice Unity on  213.48 and the Haydenettes on 205.40
