To round off the day of competition, Maggie Read and Archie Bicknell are both bringing home gold. Cardiff Opens is an RJS event, so Maggie and Archie skated according to their NISA levels, 9 and 8 respectively, performing only their long programmes. Each came first in their category.

Terri Smith, head coach, took four IW skaters to the Cardiff Opens, and they are now returning with four medals. Go IW skaters! Congratulations to Terri and her skaters, Archie, Keelin, Maggie and Nikita.
