Sunday Lunch, 20 February

Come along and join us for a two-course Sunday lunch at the Methodist church in Garfield Road on 20 February from 12pm – 1.30pm or 2pm – 3pm.

The menu is:

Roast leg of pork with apple sauce
Home-made steak and vegetable pie
Vegetarian roast and mushroom sauce

Seasonal vegetables, roast potatoes, gravy

Cold cake table and ice cream, or hot pudding and custard

Tea and coffee

Tickets at £5 each are available from Becky Daley or Kim Probert at the rink, or phone Kim on 07514 096514. Tickets to be brought along on the day as proof of purchase and one will be a lucky winner!

We are looking for volunteers to waitress on the day. We need about 10 people to help clear down and serve food. Please let Becky know ASAP if you would like to help! (email iowskaters@hotmail.com)

Quiz night, Saturday 5 March

All you knowledgeable buffs out there, or if you just want to have a go, join us at Newport Cricket Club from 7pm for a fun packed Quiz Night on 5 March. We are looking for teams of six people. The cost is £5 per person which includes food (Burger/Hot Dog etc). Prize for the winning team is £60. Please let Becky know what your team name is and who you are (email: iowskaters@hotmail.com). Payment will be collected on the evening.
