IW team the Wight Jewels will again have the honour of representing Great Britain at the junior world synchronized skating championships. NISA officially named the Jewels as the country’s representative in a press release on its website today.
The competition, the Junior World Challenge Cup, takes place in Neuchatel, Switzerland, on 10 to 12 March 2011. Wight Jewels will be aiming to improve on their 19th place at the last junior worlds in Gothenburg – an event that provided valuable international experience – and seeking to further improve on this season’s scores.
Nottingham Icicles are the reserve team.
Lee Valley’s Aura will represent the country at the senior world synchronized skating championships in Helsinki, Finland, on 8 to 9 April 2011.
