Former IW skater Charlotte Aiken and partner Josh Whidborne are currently in 2nd place after the short programme in the junior dance event at the British Ice Figure Skating Championships in Sheffield. They trail 1st place Sophie Jones and Richard Sharpe of Gillingham by a mere 0.08 points (41.99 compared with 42.07). Both couples have a clear margin over the other competitors going into the long programme.

Charlotte’s brother Henry, and partner Annika Mackza, are currently in 2nd place after the first two sections in the novice dance.

Charlotte and Josh currently skate for Deeside; Henry and Annika represent Guildford. Both couples skate the final section in their competitions today, and can be viewed on NISA TV.
