The annual scooterists rally over the August bank holiday weekend and an event the following weekend mean that there is no synchronized skating practice on Saturday 23 and Saturday 30 August.

Instead there are three synchro sessions on Thursday 21 August: Juvenile from 4.15 to 5.30pm, Novice from 5.30pm to 7pm and Junior from 7pm till 8.30pm.

Public sessions will also be affected, and anyone wishing to skate at Ryde is advised to check that the rink is open before making a special trip.
