Wight Jewels have joined the ranks of ice skaters nominated  for the 2014 Isle of Wight Sports Achievement Awards. They were included in the list of nominees for the teams published in the Isle of Wight County Press on Friday (and keen-eyed readers will note that the capacity for a local paper to muddle facts is astounding).

The awards, which celebrate the achievements of IW sporting teams and individuals in 2014, take place on 19 March 2015.
