Not to be forgotten while the world focuses its attention on the ice skating in Sochi is the 20th Spring Cup  in Milan at the Palasesto ice rink. This synchronized skating competition attracts some of the world’s top teams, including the awesome Team Surprise from Sweden at senior level, not only giving a taste of what is to come in the imminent junior and senior world synchro events but also showing what the Winter Olympics is missing.

The draw takes place on 14 February, with the skating on 15 and 16 February. The event has an active Youtube channel at www.youtube.com/user/springcup.
