There is now a Facebook event and official website for the 2013 Junior World Synchronized Skating Championships in Helsinki, Finland, on 7 to 9 March 2013. The event is the first official ISU junior world championships: for the past 11 years, the junior championships have in effect been the Junior World Challenge Cup.

For British junior synchronized skating teams such as the Wight Jewels and Nottingham Icicles, the path to the world championships begins at the British Figure Skating Championships on 26 November to 2 December 2012, the key event in deciding the UK’s entry to the worlds.
