Gold medal position in the junior dance competition at the British Ice Figure Skating Championships in Sheffield went to former IW skater Charlotte Aiken and partner Josh Whidborne, who now represent Deeside.

Gillingham’s Sophie Jones and Richard Sharpe held a narrow advantage after the short programme, and after the long set a total target to beat of 97.18. Charlotte and Josh achieved a final score of 108.79.

Well done to Charlotte and Josh for retaining their championship title.
