Achieving their best position in the junior worlds wasn’t the Jewels’ only achievement in Neuchatel: the team won the competition to produce the best flash mob video.

Competition organisers had given the teams the challenge of producing the best flash mob video to set choreography to Rihanna’s S&M. The song quickly became the theme music of the Junior World Challenge Cup, with teams of skaters performing dance moves at different locations across Neuchatel with Rihanna’s music in the background.

Wight Jewels’ winning entry was shot by coach Terri Smith purely on an iPhone 4, and edited on a Macbook by team members Izzi Parkes and Alicia Macintyre.
