Wight Jewels skated a clean long programme for a score of 50.37 and a total overall score of 75.64 – enough to advance them two places and overtake Australia’s Iceskateers Elite and Croatia’s Zagreb Snowflakes. Wight Jewels are currently warming up ready for the official practice for the long programme. In the draw for skate order last night they drew third. Iceskateers of Australia will skate first this evening.

Wight Jewels scored 25.27 in the short programme, which will put them in 19th place at the conclusion of this part of the competition. The top teams have yet to skate. Team captains and managers have reassembled for the re-draw for skate order for tonight’s short programme. Wight Jewels have drawn sixth, which is an improvement because the ice will be cleaner as only one team will have skated after the first resurface. Wight Jewels have just completed their off-ice warm-up and will shortly take to the ice for their 12-minute official practice for the short programme in front of the technical specialists.
